Parker is an incorporated municipality utilizing a five
member Council with the Mayor acting as CEO. For more

A small community of approximately 5000 citizens. Parker
is nestled amid St. Andrews Bay and Martin Lake. Its
southern limits border Tyndall Air Force Base. A quiet
neighborhood community Parker has a large Sports Complex, a
unique educational park, a very active Volunteer Fire
Department and its own Police Department.
 Founded in the early 1800's, the City of Parker today
encompasses 2.5 square miles. Approximately 6 miles is
coastal and serves as the population south side boundary
line.
The first known description of the Parker area appeared
in, A View of West Florida. This journal contained the first
American survey of the St. Andrews Bay area and the survey
identified a place called "Loftin" on the east bank of St.
