PARKER CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY

April 4, 2018

The Parker Police Department is offering the opportunity for those who live or work in Parker to attend our Citizen Police Academy.  Classes will be held every Thursday evening, beginning April 26th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  This is an eight week course and will take place at the Parker Community Center, 935 W. Park St. (next door to City Hall). Although we are a small department, it is important to us to interact with you and show you firsthand how we do our best to make Parker a safe and great place to come home to.

The deadline to submit an application to attend the first academy is April 20, 2018.  Space is limited to ensure high officer interaction and quality hands-on experience. Priority is given to those who reside or who are employed in the City of Parker. Applicants must be 18 years or older, with no criminal history to qualify.  Download application below or applications can be picked up at the Parker Police Department or Parker City Hall.

Randy Slaybaugh did a wonderful job assisting us with trash. He was very meticulous in the clean-up.
