IMPROVEMENTS COMING TO

EARL GILBERT PARK

EARL GILBERT BOAT RAMP WILL BE CLOSED STARTING MID JAN. 2017 UNTIL EARLY JUNE 2017 FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

The City of Parker was approved for a grant from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission to improve and upgrade Earl Gilbert Park.

The improvements include: replacing and enlarging the dock, adding 7 new boat trailer parking areas, including 1 handicap accessible space, a curb along the water’s edge to funnel water drainage into the new storm water retention pond, and repaving the boat launching ramp. The construction project began in mid January 2017 and is expected to be completed in early June 2017.  Be sure to check the City’s website for updates and photos as this project progresses.

The Police and Fire Departments have been very helpful in responding to my calls over and over to help with my husband who was becoming more prone to falling in the last month. Thank you for you and your entire staff sincerely!
